Hi there, my name is Phil Morosky and I live in North Edwards Calif., just on the North side of Edwards Air Force Base in Southern Calif. I do a lot of things and have many interests and one of them is Cooking Chili for Charity. I am a Life Time member of the International Chili Society, (ICS). I cook between 20 and 30 cookoffs a year, anywhere within a 300 mile radius of N. Edwards. I am retired from the Department of Defense and I worked for the Army at Edwards AFB. I also put in many years with the Kern County Vol. Fire Dept, the Kern County Sheriff Dept., The Boy Scouts and now the American Legion Post 476 in California City and almost anything else where I can work in the background.
The name of my Chili Team is ROADSIDE CHILI, this because I found out it was easier to pick the critters from the ditches and barb wire fences then it was to scrape them OFF THE ROAD. Some times on my way to a chili cookoff, I do not have too much luck getting my meat, so I am always on the lookout for a good deal on fresh meat. Lately my comments from the Chili Judges is that it is too salty or it has a strange taste. If they only knew.
There are a lot of things that I like to do, but since there is paper work on me, there are some that I can't do. 1. I do like a Nice, Happy, Friendly Drinking place. 2. I like looking at and enjoying the company of Pretty woman. 3. I like to make people think, and then enjoy the reaction they give. 4. I like to compete, in a friendly way, like cooking chili. This above enjoyments are in a reverse random order and sometimes one thing starts off another.
This Page will be changing when ever anyone has aVALID comment or when I want to.
